Former, in 1968 run fishing boat. Like all the other divable wrecks the Jabeda was sunk artificially by "Mauritius Marine Conservation Society".
On the 12.12.1996 this ship of 44 mtr length and 8 mtr width found his resting place off the island Coin de Mire. The Jabeda stands upright in max. 34 m depth, waiting for her visitors. Marvelous soft corals, schooling fish, barracudas and mackerels complete the scenery. Along a think dew, passing some wreck parts which are guarded by a giant moray, you reach the way up to Confetti Bay within 5 minutes, where you can dive out in an amazing coral garden. |
